If you think about it, you do not gain any effects from pumping exp into a skill until it increases. So ...

I'd probably focus on unarmed more.

Why train stealth to 14? You get a lot of exp in it and there is a little merit in sneaking around but you are definitely not going to be relying on sneak attacks much.

Are you planning on using the Staff for your channeling, or Sif? I'm not sure which options better in terms of mp channeled back but now that you seem slightly adequately equipped you may want to start diverting exp to Evocations/Invocations. With Sif you won't have to spend a turn switching weapons...

I start reading my scrolls after I wear/wield my first cursed item, and maybe if i found some jewellery or a wand.
I quaff unknown potions on sight. Actually if i have a method of gaining a random mutation I always use it, its pretty fun seeing what you can get.
