Re: YAVP! MiGl with combined Slay+20 and vamp eveningstar

Got to get that MR+ from somewhere! Allowed me to wear the dragonskin cloak instead of cloak of magic resist.

YAVP! MiGl with combined Slay+20 and vamp eveningstar

This game was just absurd. So much slaying, more or less perfect weapon, and several unrandarts. I don't think I have ever had an easier win. I stopped working about survivability and just went all out for slaying. I almost regret not using a lajatang of speed, but then I wouldn't have gotten the Sl...

You can use it evoke rage while silenced, but otherwise it seems like Trog's rage is as good or better. I know amulets of clarity are grayed out for Ashenzari worshipers. I'm trying to understand why it isn't the same for amulets of rage and berserkers. Is there more to it, or is this simply an over...

Re: CIP:+17 Wyrmbayne, bardiche of flame, or lajatang of spe

This is all true. I'm wearing the boots of flying now. It feels wrong to not have any rN late game though. A single bolt of draining can put a huge dent in my health and torment even more so.

Edit:Just found a ring of positive energy in Vaults 5 so goodbye -5 boots!

Re: CIP:+17 Wyrmbayne, bardiche of flame, or lajatang of spe

That's what I was thinking. The thing about the boots is that they are literally the only source of rN+ I have found besides crappy randarts. I hate being drained and I would rather have 7 less AC and have a level of rN than have no rN. But then again, I could easily be wrong. :)
