Acquirement is probably the most reliable (hah!) way to get a top end weapon. That or follow oka/trog, they'll usually get around to giving you a weapon of that type sooner or later.

Regardless of all that, which is a totally valid debate, with Dith having his anti-fire conduct right now, the game should warn you before you do anything that causes penance, including firing lightning toward trees, don't you think?

I'd call all the ones on the top list mages, they appear to be built with spellpower in mind. They have varying degrees of skill with various weapons, but it looks like damaging spells were what they were mainly built for. My point was he needs to train nothing to cast OOD, which kills OOFs just fine. (That's obviously why they both start with the same two letters :lol: )
While LCS would work too, he needs to train a lot of earth to get that going.

Firestorm does work on orbs of fire, but at a reduced level of damage. Maybe it'll be fine for your character, I know it wasn't good enough on a DEFE of mine, but that was a generally poorly built character, relying completely on offense. Also, keep in mind, firestorm is insanely loud.
