I think you are micro-optimizing too much... It will not result in a lower turn count for your score either. If your attack speed is lower than a turn you can swing at the air I guess (ctrl + direction).

  • Don't fight enemies with distortion weapons in melee
  • If you encounter enemies with spell banishment have some good MR or do not engage
  • Even with high MR stay out of their line of fire as much as possible and kill them quickly

Still going strong so far. Cleared lair, orcish mines and most of the dungeon. I think this is one of the most intense runs I've had so far. The clarity amulet and a -Tele ring seem to prevent a lot of Xom's bullshit. Also going for Unarmed Combat looks like it is pretty viable for this combo...
