Trog's artifact giant spiked clubs for Tr/Og/Fo are insanely good.

It's a major change for sure. It caught me off guard the first time I saw it happen (with a kobold demonologist). I like the change, but would support tweaks to make summoners continue to be scary.

What are people choosing for Formicid gods? I've been enjoying TSO (one-handed blessed triple sword + large shield is a nice combo

One fun option I've been experimenting with is formicid staff-berserkers, since they can wield one-handed with a shield. Lots of artifact lajatang gifts, nice!

I'm a big Chei fan, Chei ain't broke, don't fix Chei! :) I play mostly Sprint and Cheibriados actually seems like one of the stronger gods in sprint, due to the fast rate of piety gain. 10 Rune is hard... but it's not THAT hard!! Try a TrBe or something, you will make it past the Temple eventually, I promise.

Personally, I find the pits much easier than the ten rune challenge. If I play a caster, I can more or less kill the few enemies in the entry zone, then get murderized by the human or elf outside the first door. If I play a melee fighter, I can sometimes manage to take down the human/elf, then die ...

Gosh, Healers sound weird, not sure I've got much advice there... I like to start with Tr/Og Hunter, free large rocks give me a deadly early-game ranged attack.

Sprint can be ultra-deadly; because there are fewer opponents/encounters, you are much more susceptible to bad luck with the random number generator.
