Today was a completely new trunk of the android port available on this website and I did tried that one as mentioned above.

On the Samsung Nexus 10 DCSS 0.12.2 console nor the trunk 0.13 is not working at all. After startup the screen stays black and later the stopping message is popping up. In the tiled version there is no keyboard function . Android version 4.3

The idea of the character being able to determine the general direction of any noice (monsters, vault entrances, portals, activated traps and so on) is very good. For the console just use a middle dot or a dotted zero and color it to the corresponding noice level as recomended on a posting above.

If you are still living try a blink or a teleport scroll if you have one.

The scald is indeed the class coming nearest to the friar idea. It even have most of the right spells in the starting book. Now the puzzle goes to find the right species and gods for it.
