less to do with your mod, and more to do with poor gameplay of a summoner that i don't enjoy.

I have played a lot of different ogres, but never a transmuter. I used to love sludge elves, they made great transmuters and weren't merfolk (which I hate) so it makes me super sad that they're gone. but yeah never ogre transmuters. enhancer staves as your main source of damage is certainly novelty....

I once made a character with old tukima's as an ogre with okawaru and lots of gifted GSCs, with haste.

The GSC army was quite robust, but even with haste they were too slow to be very helpful.

Any other fun/good/bad/new/old novelty character ideas?

I usually find the biggest, slowest weapon and the heaviest armor with the highest AC possible.

I often play ogres though so there's not really a lot of choice in either of these categories.

Should have some weapon restrictions that are opposed to small characters. Things that are able to be used 1 handed by kobolds, etc. are unequippable. I think large shields should still be usable though.

Just brand the biggest axe you can. More damage is more damage. Since you are HO you shouldn't be scared of the skill for min delay on a battleaxe at least, or possibly even an exe axe.

OgHu. Ash is what you are looking for, but Oka/Trog and lots of other gods work fine. Ash makes casting level 6 spells practical, but you can still do it with other gods.
