I learned the same fact the hard way, being the first ever online to die to a titanic slime creature. "Only" 77 damage, though :).

Btw., they can do up 110 damage. Quite a reason to stay the f**k away from them, or at least not to fight them in corridors.

If you're a melee fighter worshipping Okawaru, turn off Throwing skill the moment you get it. Otherwise, be prepared for an infinite train of darts gifts. No more weapons and armour for you. Removing an amulet of faith gives a major immediate piety hit, even if you only just put it on. The piety loss is 1/3 of current piety - the higher you were standing with your god, the more piety you lose. Piety gain is also slower beyond **** - making the hit at high piety even worse.
