I know for sure Spriggans don't get a boost out of Rings of Sustenance. If you find one as a spriggan, you'll notice that it's name is grayed out the way useless scrolls are.

I'd assume it's the same for Trolls and their hunger.

That and the main reason to play a SpBe is for the rain of gifts. With kobolds you actaully have to waste some of those corpses on eating.

Actually, I personally really enjoyed NetHack. I sucked at it, true, but I suck at Crawl as well. As for teleport Other - never found myself in a situation where I'd prefer to teleport a monster and not myself. So I never bother with it.

Rename Enchanter to Hexer if it's going to just have Hexes as it's main starting spells. And I like the Arcane Warrior rename for a Crusader. How is it good for a spriggan? +2 INt is nice,I guess, but you already have seen invisible and your metabolism doesn't need to be sped up. Resist electricity is good, I guess, if you have no other source of it.

I find the overflow of altars to be bad enough. Just because some players regularly have 2-3 wins a week, it doesn't mean everyone does. Some of us still struggle to get some characters to the temple. The game is already hard enough, let's not try to make it harder for no reason, ok?
