I recommend Unreal World. It's a survival sim set in iron age Finland, complete with tanning animal furs, building your own log cabin, and getting mugged by Russian bastards. If you can get past the hellish number of controls, it's a fun game. Don't eat mushrooms btw.

I think it was a weird effect that encouraged you to kite enemies long distances and do tedious terraforming to get the best use out of it. All of the cool things you could do with a stone of tremors you could do with a dig wand. I wouldn't be against an earth evoker if it had a nice effect.
