If I remember correctly, CLIVAN had Holy Handgrenades of Antioch. And Dark Knights who scream "This but a flesh wound!" when you chop their limbs off (you can do that).

Also, race with bad UC aptitude but larger bonuses could be more interesting than any race simply good at UC, so I'd keep it.
