i once entered a relatively early ice cave and faced 2 ghosts that were closer to the exit than i was (and no blink scrolls available). i really don't see why they *should* generate.

It'll be hard for unspoiled players to actually notice that the difference between the two. In my view, being unable to notice the difference is a good argument for not having the difference in the first place. i read that as: some players are not very observant of damage so might as well go ahead ...

probably going to need to still rely on int or you'll just be able to build cookie-cutter-meleekilldude with invocations instead of evocations and gain a spell list as powerful as a purebreed caster that raised 6+ schools

how about you simply lose the option to memorise the spell after an arbitrary number of turns passed? say 1000 turns to memorise it or it's gone. number can be tweaked to however length feels fair and if you get more gifts in the meantime they would all be available with their own individual timers....

i can see the situation where you want to kill a rune vault but run out of spells, can't kill anything and need to backtrack to somwhere else in order to try again (as opposed to just resting?) that would be tedious for sure and possibly promote ignoring enemies when you are fully charged to keep fo...

i also really like it so long as you get spells back fast enough, i'd hate to have plenty of mana and no spells to cast. you did not add any piety-sink (or other tradeoffs like ru), it could maybe use 1-2 useful skills to offer a choiche (for example -> expend piety to immediately receive a new spel...

now i don't know by memory every single runed vault in the game but i'm pretty sure just having translucent doors won't allow you to see the entire vault on many of them so what do we do, should we make walls translucent too? or maybe put in the "manual" the layout of all runed door vaults...

yeah but they don't wear the leg part, that's why we have naga barding instead. they don't walk OR slither in plate. nagas only wear half of plate armor so if anything it would make sense for them to be *less* encumbered (which is somewhat true because of their decent STR stat). why is it so hard to...
