Re: Remove Regeneration

(Reposting from another thread because it is relevant here.) I just had an idea to fix regeneration: Regeneration costs a percentage amount of health to cast, and will prevent regeneration for the player above their damaged hp value after casting. Also the regeneration is faster acting. This prevent...

Re: Make charms reserve life.

I just had an idea to fix regeneration: Regeneration costs a percentage amount of health to cast, and will only regenerate external hp damage after the cast. This prevents the optimal strategy from being just to cast regeneration while resting every time.

Re: Move either Borgnjor's or Door to Poison

Some ideas for more poison spells: -A poison the player takes that buffs the player, at a particular cost. Hard to say what form this would take. -A Hexes/Poison spell that temporarily allows an enemy to be poisoned while they remain in your sight, even enemies that would normally be immune. If the ...

I was also thinking about no mp costs. That would be an interesting race, but the no mp costs boon would need some other corresponding drawback. Either a form of cool down (like sifts free castings), or another interesting drawback (you take damage when monsters are near you) would be interesting.

Thoughts (I have not play tested though) 1. I fail to see why anti magic weapons can't be wielded. An alternate disadvantage (such as reducing health) could be used instead. 2. Same for worshipping trog. Although this race could be broken with trog, the ban looks weird. 3. I would either allow all g...

Why not make Qazlal give immunity to your clouds for friendly allies? Especially since one of the abilities is summoning. This would allow for summoner play, and ensures that qazlal doesn't kill your allies unfairly.

Why not make it a targeted cloud (with more corpses) or smite targeted poison (with less) that takes corpses in LOS to fuel? 1 small corpse gets some poison, but with more corpses in LOS it builds it up to a corpse cloud effect.

I was on the last level of the ziggurat. I was dismayed to hear "You hear a slurping noise" when I met my enemies. I fought some shape changers, and my best guess was that they digested several items in their jelly form. As slime levels have their contents protected from these slimes, it w...

What about the hat making you invisible as long as you aren't seen? (Thinking of mystery men right now.) What could make the labyrinth an interesting challenge: 1. Remove map rot. 2. Players cannot regenerate health before the minotaur. They also (slowly) start taking damage. But there is a mercy full heal beforehand. This would be a more interesting clock. 3. Multiple branching paths that all eventual...

Ideas: For piety gain, maybe it would be better to only award it if you actively move towards monsters during a combat. Breaking this awards a permanent unimpressed status effect to the monsters that saw you do this, and you don't earn piety. To help with this, when there are monsters that aren't un...
