I think the issue with 'good' gods is that they allow you to switch between them amicably and without wrath. None of the evils or neutrals allow this, so I figure they wanna keep this to a minimum.

I'd be fine with a name-change. They aren't, after all, necessarily religious. Bladesinger and spellsword are good, but they insinuate that the person is using a bladed weapon. It'd be weird to be a bladesinger and use a flail.

Playing a TrCK and not expecting to win is actually a pretty freeing experience. Especially when Xom gives you mutations, and they're all good, and one of them is "You Regenerate". The TriCK is to still be happy and free when he takes them all away and sends demons after you. :p

Yeah he comes back.

Sucks about the deterioration and screaming mutations, but other than that you're alright. Should've put more into dex rather than strength, but good otherwise.

Yeah that sounds worse. Least when relying on MR you can affect enemies into the late game so long as they have low MR; pretty much every monster late-game will have a high HD.
