You can get rC, rF and AC in any conceivable slot, you can get spirit shield on amulets and hats, reflection only appears on shields.

Rod of striking may be actually useful only given this set of circumstances:

...you are using M&F anyways
...you are using evocations anyways
...for some reason, a given monster resists all your other weapons' damage,

And even then, it's not spectacular.

Any user can edit posts flagged as spam by the mods. The thread then gets automatically obliterated in 24 hours, or (spellcasting+moderation)/2 hours, whichever is shortest. Only affects posts with crazy yiuf holiness.

Major Destruction is a very good reason to make Invocations your #1 skill, it can kill a ton of stuff, and the HP cost is usually more than mitigated by the HP-on-kill refund.
