Odd. I mean at 10% fail that's likely still a yellow miscast, which seems like it'd be high risk to use for an entire game. So this is going back a bit, but any reason why the FeSu had 10% fail on statue form at the end? I'd think you would have taken that down somewhat by the end, did you really have that failure rate all game long or did you swap equipment or something which just makes it look like you had higher fail...

I think FE is great for melee. Your best spell, sticky flame requires you to be in melee range anyway. So you might as well hit the dude a few times so it dies even faster. It is trading safety for turns and real-time which is bad while streaking IMHO. As Fe you don't have a reason to stay in melee...

Playing the same GrBe for 9—11 hours sounds quite boring indeed. An average player wins such a combo in 3—4. If you play slowly, you should consider combos which actually require you to pay attention.

Don't save enchant armour scrolls for GDA because if you can kill a gold dragon you should be strong enough to find more of those scrolls by scumming the Abyss or clearing half of a Ziggurat.

Be afraid of the first adder you meet.
The same goes for orc wizards/priests/warriors, gnolls with polearms and uniques, of course. In some cases, even D:1 humanoids with weapons and jackal packs. This list is not even complete.

Curing and heal wounds got buffed significantly in terms of dealing with rot over the past two years. There's no way curing would restore only 1 max HP these days. If i understand the learndb correctly, those potions restore as much of the rotten health as they would restore regular HP.
