So, I have this +0 Pearl Dragon Armour I found as a Spriggan Artificer on D:2, should I use it? and will it mess with Evocations since I plan on using Nemlex?

Thats pretty sweet, playing a DDEE (will get Makleb) question, how am I supposed to get the other spells like Crystal Spear and Iron Shot later on? Will I just stumble upon the books or something?

I went for the abyssal rune, and turned out to be a mistake, got to floor 2, and eventually just mutated and died.. Note to self, don't go there again.... Really Good Game.

I have the amulet of resist corrosion, and a ring of protection from cold, which should work? I'm guessing I should take off the ring of slaying, and use the cold protection, and also wear the amulet.

Actually I cleared out all of Vaults:1-4 and have now done the shoals 5 (easy!) and spiders 5 (easy!) and should I try to do the vaults 5 now and get the third rune? Screw it, I did it, got the rune on my third big square, totally worth it. have all three now

Okay, So I hit XL 18, and am at 23.1 Fighting, 15 Shield (Large Eleven Shield and like 16 Armour) Focused on fighting and Armour and probably gonna start dodging. Would I be ready to hit the vaults, or should I go deeper in the main dungeon?

I agree with last two posts, but some MR is very good for this character(and any other character who has a low MR and is not crippled by the armour that gives it) imo. Trog's hand grants a MR bonus which is equivalent to ring of magic resistance AND armour of magic resistance. Basically I don't car...

That's what I generally do, even if it is not a good thing, find orcs, spam meph, spam magic bolt. Win. Sometimes die, more ofthen than not I don't. But meph is pretty awesome, so is iron shot
