That is just plain wrong, at least for 0.10. A MiMo cannot train armour when you start a game while a MiFi can.

Aha.

Still I'm confused about what you need to minimize attack delay with slings/bows/crossbows. You said it depends on stats (slings=dex, crossbows=str, bows=both). So skill plays no role it it, or how does that come into play? How much Str do you need for a crossbow in order to reach min delay?

Okay, the beginning is an important part of the game, but what good are crossbows for if you run out of ammo on D:3? And if the're only good for getting started and at low skill levels, what is the point on training the crossbow skill?

In other words: crossbows are really inferior to bows in all respects. I wonder why there's a crossbow skill and that weapon at all if using it is a mistake. It's not even a weapon _class_.

Don't use deep stacks. You have to put out stacks of, maybe 5 items deep. They don't search stacks deeper than 5 items. Spread out a huge hallway in Lair and filter them through it. It sucks, but that's what happens. ! So that's why I constantly "lose" items and cannot find them anymore.

Why does every monster need a special effect? If there are three very similar monsters that just differ in difficulty, isn't that fine? Removing the weaker variety will make the game harder for low level characters etc.

You've been raising STR, if you were raising DEX you would get better results. I don't really recommend going STR on MiGl. As I said, 30-35 EV is doable in plate, and 17 is pretty low dex for a MiGl so that will be the reason why you don't have that. I've been raising strength because I was hoping ...

Okay, understood. I tried in wizard mode ang get (with maxed skills and Str 27, Dex 17):

EV 26 - plate mail
EV 23 - crystal plate mail
EV 21 - gold dragon armour

Is EV 21 actually high enough to be useful at all?

You say that AC kills EV - this just isn't true. It is easy for minotaurs to get 30+ EV in plate armour, 20+ in heavier armours, and more in lighter dragon armours.
