So, I'm worshipping Oka and just starting to get gifts, and I've been pretty successful as far as my general play goes (this the second~third time I've made it to lair). I have a +1,+2 sling, thirty-ish stones, and a stair to the lair surrounded by blink frogs. I'm wondering, where should I go from ...

Found that out on that character actually. I don't remember if that's what killed me or not, but I got in trouble with either a ghost or Gnoll Sergeant and quaffed a speed pot and then saw the stasis message and facepalmed.

I've been meaning to learn about how to skill train properly, but I never really did. Should I turn off all skills but my weapon and means of avoiding damage for the first three or so levels or should I let them level like I have, but not do so many skills?
