Re: Unique Proposal: Ghost child- starts of friendly, later

This is a genius idea, but the name could be improved. How about "Xom Wonderland"?

Like Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Alice in Wonderland? If we're referencing that, there could always be a white rabbit that spawns.

Okay, I think I'm gonna roll with this spriggan rider? http://i.imgur.com/GJTkKsF.png Does anybody have opinions/critiques on these giant concepts? I won't be offended if you straight up hate them. I'm not sure how I feel about them. http://i.imgur.com/egJlhol.png

Re: Unique Proposal: Ghost child- starts of friendly, later

Sounds like there's too much overlap with Xom to reasonably consider. Xom isn't so bad because you can choose not to play with her, but this proposal is basically a weaker Xom that gets inflicted on you against your will and which you can't shut off. It would make more sense if we didn't already ha...

Re: Tiles that could use improvement

Okay, less flat. More of a leg. I made the wasp have a bigger butt because I realized I had a lot of the 32x32 left to use but I'm not sure if I like it. More critique please!!

Uhm, what are you having problems understanding? I don't know how to clarify without restating everything.

Unique Proposal: Ghost child- starts of friendly, later not.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the coding aspect of this game or how big of an issue this would be. I also haven't played in well over a year, so I'm a bit behind in all the updates (and balancing). But this idea is neat to me, so I would thoroughly appreciate any criticism! My idea is a ghost chi...

Re: Interested in doing tile requests.

Oh, I thought this thread was dead, and I've been murdering octopode wizards in various ways for the past few days. Backgrounds are tough, but I don't mind giving it a shot. Is there any theme I'm going for or any immediate "avoid at all costs" deals that I should know about? (Besides that...

Re: Interested in doing tile requests.

Ah wow! :D That looks so much better. I see what you're saying now. I was trying to put lots of tiny details into it, which was gumming it up a lot. But with less variation of colors (and more of a gradient), you've pretty much captured the same idea. I always forget it and get married to ideas then...

Re: WEBTILES - nearly unplayable

I have played Webtiles every day for the past month and a half. In the past two or three weeks, I have experienced some periods of extreme lag, but this is generally around the same time almost daily. When I first started playing, this didn't happen, but I also play a lot more than I did when I didn...

Re: Interested in doing tile requests.

Thanks, all! I like it quite a bit! One thing to experiment with is adding depth by making some parts of the tile much darker, and then adding more mid-tones between the dark portions and the lighter ones. As far as making shapes goes, that robe is all aces. Yeah, I agree. Contrast helps a lot, but ...

Re: Interested in doing tile requests.

So it already has a tile?

Regardless, I gave it a whirl. I used the one of the other robes to keep the similar robe design going. I could make one from scratch if you'd prefer?

Here it is with and without the shadow.

Sorry it took a bit. How's this?

Interested in doing tile requests.

I'm really interested in contributing to this game, but I'm not sure I entirely grasp the constraints of the game. To better understand this, I want to help with ideas more feasible than my own and make tiles for those who can use them (or just want them). I'm aware of the huge difference that can b...

Re: Portal vault ideas! Please critique, add, or subtract id

* The Dwarven Halls are planned to eventually become a one-level offshoot of the Elven Halls, but current dwarf variety is too weak (Unborns are Deep Dwarf Necromancer Death Knights? No crossbow or earth elementalist dwarves?) and non-electric golems are horribly tedious to build even a regular por...
