This isn't the first time a hatch has gone into a no_rtele_into area; I've dug into the code a bit surrounding it and it definitely is not supposed to happen, but I don't as yet have any idea why it's happening.

I'll update here if I find anything out.

You are guaranteed a food vault between D:7-14 inclusive. Food vaults are guaranteed to contain at least some vegetarian food, and are generally biased in that direction (the rationale being that carnivores can provide their own food readily enough).

This reminds me of Force Lance (and would probably be better than Force Lance). I was thinking the same thing except "worse than". Generally speaking, you're casting those spells because you want the target to be further from you -- shoving is more likely to make that happen than a random...

You can't get the diet mutations any longer, but if you could that edge case is indeed covered.
