I'm at XL 15 and I've gotten tons of throwables and not a needle yet. Perhaps Stealth or trwowing actions vs. Blowgun actions are taken into account?

does Throwing now get the skill level added to the base damage before rolling the die, vs. melee where one rolls the die and then multiplies the base damage die result by a 1+dSkill/50 multiplier? If so that would surely explain why it can deal so much damage with high skill as Siegurt suggested.
