Perhaps the mutation could change randomly while the spell is being cast (same power of mutation but different armor slot). Then it doesn't make sense to cast it multiple times till you get the right armor slot. It makes the spell a bit unreliable, but it shouldn't be a problem for low level charact...

I thought about only showing uniques you have seen in this game. So at dungeon level 1 the list would be empty. slime enslavement

I used a wand of enslavement on (at?) a Slime Creature and it became charmed. Then it merged with another Slime Creature and I got a charmed large slime creature. Then it split and I had two charmed slime creatures.
Is that behaviour intended? It seems a bit strange, but it is funny nonetheless.

I had the same problem because I switched to Neo-Leyout two month ago. Then I recognized that I didn't play crawl anymore because I couldn't move properly :shock: .
So I trained movement for a while and it works quite well now ( if I concentrate on it ;) ).
