Blink, Swiftness, Repel Missiles, and Haste are all no-brainers for pretty much any character. If you don't have Frost Brand (it's better) in any of your other books, go ahead and learn Fire Brand so you could temp brand your trident. Haste+Branded Trident will give you quite a bit more attack power...

Interesting character. I don't think I've ever seen a DDNe with that combination of spells - Haunt, LCS, Fire Storm(!), and Controlled Blink. Did you never find Revivification? That's the go-to Necro spell in Zot 5.
