You should generally only train one skill at a time instead of having multiple on at once. IIRC you only need 15 shields skill for a normal shield on a minotaur to remove all the penalties so you should be all set with that, you can go to 25 skill if you want to use a large shield but you'll be bett...

I can back up cerebovssquire on this. You can earn MP from spellcasting/invocations/evocations, but will only get the benefits of whichever is higher.

I agree, C is probably your best option here. You can switch to the scimitar quickly if you are in need of the stats it provides, but for general crawling the ac/int/sinv is all useful

I agree with mageykun. You want to get your weapon to minimum delay, then work on other things (fighting/armor/dodging/traps and doors) and you can always go back once those are at a more comfortable level.
