FWIW, my first successful clear of extended happened with character who was worshiping Ashenzari. Monster detection, portal detection and ability to peek into unknown vaults with Scrying were quite useful in Pan/Hell and helped to avoid quite a few unpleasant encounters.

Thanks a lot for organizing the clan, reaver. It actually encouraged me to try to get 15-rune wins, which I hadn't done for almost a year, and both winning games turned out to be extremely enjoyable, especially the Dragon Form DgTm one. Hope other players had fun as well.

Unless I'm missing something here, couldn't you just try reading a remove curse scroll and then removing the plate armour? While you have a high chance to fail at reading scrolls when you're brainless, it is still possible to use them.

I Feel like it used to be a +2 +3 ? Some creatures (e.g. jellies) can corrode the weapons which you use to attack them, it has a chance to decrease the +damage enchantment (the second one).
