From the looks of the log, the player was teleported by the Abyss into a scroll mimic's lap and died before getting the chance to act. Xom has nothing on the dreaded turn 2 telemimic gank.

I'm not sure this would change much. It's mostly just non-Kiku necromancers that really need corpses for purposes other than food, and they should have a good beatstick and probably Dispel/Control Undead anyway. I guess it makes things easier for Ghouls, but that's about it.

Part of your problem may be a result of neglecting the Dodging skill. You have good Dex and aren't taking huge armour penalties, so your EV should pick up very quickly with training. You could definitely use some more Invocations -- if you're using the abilities a lot, they might as well pack a punc...

Out of curiosity, one of your initial assumptions is: projectiles are never observed spending more than 1 aut in the air. However, it takes a minimum of 3 aut to fire a weapon (That being a bow with finesse active), a full 10 to throw a large rock, now while it might only take 1 aut for a projectil...

Seconded that boulder beetles need to scale with distance. Maybe 1d20 per tile rolled, capping at 3 or 4?

As for sixfirhies and jiangshi, would it be better to give them slow movement and let them cast semicontrolled Blink? It would end up working pretty similarly but it would be more transparent.

Strength is way more important in reducing EV and casting penalties in 0.13 than it used to be. However, you already have a ton of strength, so unless you're aiming for the heaviest of heavy armours (which will probably lock out most casting anyway, given your Int and apts), I'd pump Int, yes.
