Lowest spec that will run Dungeon Crawl?

What are the absolute lowest spec's Dungeon Crawl would run on? Someone is offering me an ancient P120 mhz laptop for basically nothing, and I figured it might be decent for playing Angband and Dungeon Crawl while my son watches cartoons on the PC upstairs.

Fighting skill does not, to my knowledge, affect damage. It affects hit points and attack rolls.

Weapon skill does improve damage as mentioned above.

Apparently WOTC is doing a limited print run of the original AD&D books, as some sort of anniversary/memorial set. Very keen on picking those up. I enjoyed AD&D quite a bit, back in the day.

Seen it twice now, but the Gnoll fortress was quite cool. A stream of the blighters charging out at me, then storming the fortress and berserking my way through the hordes. Good stuff.

I don't get much time to game anymore, but I do enjoy it. Rolemaster (2nd and Standard system), Runequest, old school D&D, WFRP, some new indie games (Burning wheel etc) Traveller and whatnot.

Every time I try to do anything on auto pilot (walk, fight, etc) I end up dying horribly :)

To be fair, I also die horribly when I try to do things slowly and deliberately but at least I can't blame me mashing buttons then ;)

I imagine the stealth aptitude might work out really well? Given you can't wear armour anyway, and you should be racking up a good dexterity score, you might be able to avoid some fights you don't need to take.

how exactly does speed work mechanically. My felid has it as a mutation and i occasionally outrun monsters.
