Edit: also, so far in the tournament, starvation death percent is identical to the 0.20 tournament, at 0.03%. (No Sp starvation deaths in the 0.21 tournament so far. In fact, no spriggan has starved in an online game since Jan 2017.) While I assume this is true I would imagine it's pretty hard to a...

Time to plug Chei for spriggans to reduce food usage? Just some food for thought.* *I'm not actually sure if this actually works since spriggan food use per turn is already 1, and probably can't be a fraction of 1. I know melee attacks cost 3 food, do ranged weapon attacks also? You probably just wa...

It seems really odd to me that quicksilver dragon scales can be enchanted with Str+6 but not +1 (AC). In any case I certainly agree with going light armor when you've got +16 dex from equipment. Very nice combined AC/EV score.

When you try to equip something which is equipment, but that slot is currently melded, you get the error message: That's the wrong kind of item! (Use * to select it.) Worth noting is that hellcrawl has a version of this: stat rings (str/dex/int) are always +5, and protection/evasion rings are usually +3, but it is possible to find +6 versions more rarely. Imho that's a pretty good system; prot/evasion are worth wearing at +3, and +6 are very powerful. Keeping the...

I don't use conjure flame all that often and I probably should abuse it more, but the basic trick (I'm sure there's other tricks) is to cast it in front of you in a hallway, blocking off the monster from reaching you.
