That looks like a fun run.

Can you give a quick outline of your progression. When you used what weapons. When you changed your tactics. etc. When you went from sneaky, light Armour to heavy tank.

My Assassins splat in lair (or before) typically. I know I am doing something wrong.

I have had characters that have worn normal MR+ rings, nothing wrong with that artifact. Personally I would have aimed for one more pip of MR for zot, as A-lich paralasis is nasty. Well done, can't argue with that! MiBe was my first win too and I still like berserkers... Was the wizardry ring the best you had? @damiac: The trident is worthless because he already has the resistances it gives, furthermore "resistance sticks" are normally really bad ideas and people using them would be better served by an actual weapon in their weapon slot. Dodging is important yes but not more than getting a weap...

I totally agree that the trident is not where I want to be. I can kill weaklings, but that's about it. But it's my only source of see invis and it is the best I have found so far. Better find a source for rF++. By the way, now did you deal with Nikola without rElectricity? Berserk + Brothers in Arms? Potions of resistance give temporary rF+, rC+, rN+, rElec and something else. My Dire Flail has rElectricty. My crappy crossbow from Trog had it too, but it sits in the stash now.

If you're just doing a basic 3-runes game, no god switching would be the wisest choice. Trog is powerful enough if you just want to get the Orb and win. I am having my best run so far. Dwinii is a MD Hunter (played as a fighter). He got two great thins early on. One was Crystal Plate. Before too long I got a strength ring that let me use it. I also got the blink mutation with a ring to control it. That has saved my bacon more times than I can count....
