Re: Mummy Adjustments

+1 for Mu buffs for me. You used to be able to just scum 1000's of turns to offset the fact you're useless but scumming basically isn't a thing anymore. Awful aptitudes across the board means it's a pain to progressive past mid game (IMO, but I'm bad) unless you luck out and get iron shot/fireball f...

Re: New God: Excalibur

Excalibur is just a filler name tbh; I couldn't think of a very "Swordy" name in my heat of invention. I wanted to make something that could involve deicide while still being really cool thematically (You can kill people physically with your god!).

Re: New God: Excalibur

Thanks for all the replies and feedback! Heavily aptitude-based god means the god is only good for certain species. Even Deep Elves can play Trog as an archer, but for this god you need a good long blades apt. Gods typically are supposed to be broadly useful to characters and this one is a bit narro...

New God: Excalibur

Ever wanted to pray to a sword? Believing in Excalibur gives you a long sword that can be gradually improved. Increased piety levels will "upgrade" the sword by increasing the enchantment bonus as well as the weapon type. The powers all revolve around improving the sword itself along with ...

Hireable Allies, AKA Mercenaries

This would implement a new "shop" that allows you to buy permanent allies to aid you. The shop tile design would just be a tavern, and the GUI actually semi-similar to a regular shop. You would have a list (Small to big, I was thinking of around 4-7) with their "name", their &quo...

Executioner Axe = Worth using? Just in general or in the case of randarts.

Any advice for Melee fighters? I was thinking about Minotaur Berserker, then just getting some heavy armor. Any advice really for tackling specific hard areas and end game?

DDEE Guide?

I has yet to win a single game.

So, I come hear and learn DDEE is the easiest to win with.
But I suck with mages.

Can someone really explain the strategy and build for a DDEE?

Troll Transmuter

I want to try and run a 15-runer on one.

Besides luck, what is a nice skill build in your opinion? I'm trying to run unarmed to 15, fighting to 5, then pump transmutations for blade hands.

Going for Chei ---> Jiyva

Just some general things. What armor should I wear? What skills should I turn on? What stats to pump first? etc.
