I had a similar crash, when a ring came into view. http://dobrazupa.org/morgue/tigertrap/crash-tigertrap-20141227-010334.txt [^] http://dobrazupa.org/morgue/tigertrap/crash-tigertrap-20141227-010612.txt [^] https://dobrazupa.org/saves/tigertrap-crawl-git-43078d266b-141227-0156.tar.bz2 [^] |

The attached patch might fix it, but I haven't been able to reproduce the crash. It involves: * enslave Ilsuiw's soul * friendly Ilsuiw casts Call Tide * leave the level while Call Tide is still active * recall Ilsuiw to a different level * return to the first level But there's more to it than that... perhaps an item has to be in a deep water tile or such? |

Went with a different approach, with |amethyst's suggestion. Still didn't reproduce the crash to be sure it was gone, though. The tigertrap crashes are unrelated (and fixed). |
