Summary 0009312: Human corpses in Kobold vault do not rot
Description Found a vault with lots of kobolds around a 2x2 fire area with forest. Many human corpses. Traveled a bit and came back and the corpses never rotted.

I understand that they should start decomposing counter once I view them or encounter the vault, right? Otherwise, nice saved chunk area.

hm... if you chop one of those corpses, the chunks rot normally. This makes me suspect a bug in the new rotting code.

but an explicitly delayed_decay chunk rots normally even if you didn't see it (which is incorrect in the opposite way)... stranger and stranger.

Possibly same effect (untested) in the elephant graveyard.

Fixed in trunk (0.16-a0-3304-g6b2d168), thanks! This doesn't do anything for games that already have undecaying corpses; those will remain undecaying.

The two commits preceding that one make delayed-decay and never-decay chunks work properly, too (that was a separate bug).
