hm... if you chop one of those corpses, the chunks rot normally. This makes me suspect a bug in the new rotting code. |

but an explicitly delayed_decay chunk rots normally even if you didn't see it (which is incorrect in the opposite way)... stranger and stranger.

Fixed in trunk (0.16-a0-3304-g6b2d168), thanks! This doesn't do anything for games that already have undecaying corpses; those will remain undecaying.
The two commits preceding that one make delayed-decay and never-decay chunks work properly, too (that was a separate bug).
