 An update: 0.22-a0-462-g186421b65b through 0.22-a0-466-gcaf04dffec implement tiles chat muting. Unfortunately the current implementation mutes are global and can only be set by the player, as opposed to per-spectator.

 I will add that you can now hide WebTiles chat by clicking on the - in the top right of the chat box, and if you really want you can also `/hide forever` and remove the chat box completely (until you reload the game).
