Summary 0008751: Enemy spriggans can wield weapons that player spriggans cannot
Description > A spriggan rider opens the door. It is wielding the +8 storm bow {elec}.

Later, after *barely* defeating it:

> The +8 storm bow {elec}.
[...]
> It is too large for you to wield.

Enemy spriggans should not be generated wielding any weapon too big for a player spriggan to wield.

 Fixed in trunk (0.15-a0-1832-gdf93a0c), thanks! It was able to wield the longbow because spriggan riders were larger than spriggans (kobold-sized). That is no longer the case.

 Apparently this was intentional. Reverted in 0.15-a0-1842-g0e4e86c.

 Given that spriggan riders are an ordinary spriggan riding a creature (and that it's possible to kill the creature they're riding, leaving them as an ordinary spriggan), it might make sense to make them larger than a spriggan for the purposes of EV and constriction escape, but it doesn't make sense to let them wield a larger weapon than a spriggan. In particular, killing the creature they're riding out from underneath them would result in an ordinary spriggan wielding a storm bow.
