Summary 0008506: Some messages for monsters being seen for the first time do not use the monster_warning channel
Description As the summary says. Setting a force_more on the whole monster_warning channel will not catch some variations, like "A trapdoor spider leaps out from its hiding place under the floor!" or "A sea snake bursts forth from the water!". These are considered plain messages, I think. There are probably more than these two as well.

Update: I later found out that this situation inconsistently produces a separate line for "A trapdoor spider comes into view." When that happens, a force_more is produced as desired. The lack of a "comes into view" message might be related to whether the spider takes any action on that same turn (either attacking or hissing). The one time I did see the "comes into view" message, the spider was spotted from a distance and did not hiss, and the message was colored lightred unlike others of its kind.
