Go to the "My Account" page linked at the top, and click "My Preferences". You can set whatever you want from there.

It's not that hard to figure out.

As Soner said, you can turn this on or off yourself.

On ehe other hand, the wiki sadly works the way you want, requiring us to subscribe with a dummy account to get consistent notifications.

I don't see a way of asking for notifications like described above in my preferences, sorry. Which option would enable them for actions I did not perform myself, but disable for the ones I did?

I have all the notifications turned off and I still get emails when I modify a bug that is assigned to me.
