Summary 0007283: Players in lich/tree/fungus form cannot acquire food
Description Presumably they do not intend to stay in this form for the remainder of the game, so food acquirement isn't significantly more useless than usual.

 When I tried to acquire food in lichform I got "The demon of the infinite void smiles upon you"

 I can confirm Grandiloquent Gentleman's behaviour. This probably affects other acquirement categories as well, e.g. maybe weapon acquirement won't give necromutated players holy wrath weapons or jewellery acquirement won't give them gourmand.

 The food still fails the "useless" check, because there doesn't seem to be a way to ask "is this food permanently useless?". is_inedible and can_ingest would need an extra parameter.

 This has been fixed at some point, though I can't figure out when.
