I didn't find the 'poison' branch in lair. I then exhaustively killed plants until each floor L3-L6 returned 'done exploring' for autoexplore. Still no branch. |amethyst said that Snake stairs were not placed on lair:6.

In case this matters:

 I think there are extremely few ways this can happen - especially since I added the MMT_VAULT mask to the stairs in a recent commit, meaning the only things that could technically overwrite the stairs would be uniques.

The given level 6 in your save doesn't even have any vaults except the Swamp entrance so I'm a bit perplexed. But I'll investigate further since I could have made an error in my recent changes to vault and branch entry placement.

 Sorry about this, I made an error that caused the second branch entrance to be skipped when two branch entrances were on the same floor.

Fixed in trunk.

I'm not sure if we're able to fix your game in progress unfortunately?

 I don't think we can fix games affected by this but it won't occur again, resolving.
