I fought a titanic slime creature, some of my zombies killed it after it split. I walked away, came back, walked through a space that looked empty (though Ashenzari had detected a monster there from behind the trees), and I get "You kill the slime creature" and "_Error, exp for monster with no damage: slime creature".
