Close the game by pushing the ctrl+s button with the mouse (tiles) and went to sleep. Woke up and the game says the save file is "corrupted -- block truncated". |

I'm able to use the mouse save and exit icon in current trunk and reload the save. Unfortunately your save is missing a critical sections like the player character information. This bug is from many versions ago, so I'm resolving for now. If you do see similar save corruption in a recent crawl when using the mouse or keyboard save, please reopen and give details about the exact version you're using and your OS version, so we can try to duplicate. |
