(0016915) josh (reporter) 2012-02-07 04:09	You could look at the ttyrec for my most recent win on CDO, as "josh": http://crawl.develz.org/ttyrecs/josh/2012-02-05.13:48:03.ttyrec.bz2 [^] At experience level 12, shortly after dealing with the simulacra and hydrae, south of the forest, I found a plain deck of cards, walked to the river alongside the north of the forest to try it out (in case of a Tomb card), and drew a Metamorphosis card ("You fly out of the water as you turn into a bat", "Your ring of magical power melds into your body", "You feel your mana capacity decrease"). I ended the transformation ("You feel almost normal", "You feel your mana capacity is already quite full", "u - a ring of magical power"), noticed the odd message (given that I only had 42 max magic), and immediately tested the issue by removing and putting back on the ring ("You feel your mana capacity increase.")

(0016916) KiloByte (manager) 2012-02-07 05:02	Ah yeah, broken by Eronarn's change to rings: melding them is currently broken. It was made this way to let OpTm use rings, I'm not sure if that's the best solution.
