Summary 0004957: Possible double Zin piety/kills from a single 'pillar-of-salt'ed creature?
Description I was using Zin's Recite on some ugly things, which were turned into pillars of salt, and then died, but it seemed to be giving me credit for two kills:

The purple ugly thing is turned into a pillar of salt by the wrath of Zin!
You kill the purple ugly thing!
Zin accepts your kill. x2

Zin accepts your kill. x2
Your Shields skill increases to level 18!

Each ugly thing seems to be counting as two kill. Probably one from it being turned into a pillar of salt, and then somehow the pillar is also killed and counts as another kill? But I've seen previous pillars remain after being created. I didn't do anything to these pillars.

Incidentally, is there a way to copy and paste text from the game? I typed in the above manually, but surely there is a better way?

Thanks,

Twilight

OK, further update:

I killed some other ugly things, and also got the

Zin accepts your kill. x2

message, with no pillars of salt around at all. However, I did notice that it happened with purple ugly things and not brown ugly things. Purple ones seem to count as 2 kills.

The reason for the latter is that purple ugly things are disliked by Zin on two fronts. First, they're of the ugly thing species, which counts as chaotic, and second, they have a rotting attack, which counts as unclean.

dolorous: thanks for investigating. Fixed.
