Summary 0004948: Spider form unarmed attack type is not bite, but punch
Description  You turn into a venomous arachnid creature.
 Your cursed +0 cloak melds into your body.
 Your +0 helmet melds into your body.
 Your +0 pair of gloves melds into your body.
_Your +0 robe melds into your body. The crimson imp misses you.
 You punch the crimson imp!

Apparently no damage bonus from spider form either!

Blade hands has no effect either? Looks related.

Vampire bat form has the same effect. As amusing a bat punching may sound, it does not seem correct.
