If you show the cloud, people will think they can pass through. With the grate, you'll have clouds seemingly magically appearing on the other side.

(0015301) rriegs (reporter) 2011-10-19 16:25	A monster with a cloud over it just looks like a monster; clouds magically appearing next to one is something that can already occur in the game. In tiles, we already use a semi-transparency trick to show monsters standing in water (information that can be difficult to display in console). Why not always draw clouds partially transparent floating on top of whatever would normally be drawn in the square? As for console, maybe make a new brand for "there's also a cloud here"?
