0003554: Tiles in trunk runs very slow on my computer

How many/which of the tile panels are automatically fully visible in the game? (I'd ask for the resolution but I wouldn't know how to translate back the information.) Has that changed since the last version you played? Is anything else visibly different? Thanks.

(0011540) jwj442 (reporter) 2011-03-11 05:29	Yes, my drivers are up-to-date. My computer is set to 1024x768, so I would guess that's what Crawl is running in. Everything looks normal, it just runs very slowly. Autoexplore and moving my character with the mouse are acceptable speeds (though still slower than 0.7), but everything else is really slow. There's a big delay whenever I hit a directional key, and when I hold a direction down the character just stays still for a few seconds before "teleporting" several spaces away. Even typing "yes" to confirm quitting has a delay before the text shows up. I've tried tweaking some of the numbers in the settings file, but I didn't notice a difference.
