Summary | 0002489: Gods don't recognize cloud spells
Description | Gods don't notice when you engulf something with a cloud spell, whether you target the creature's square directly or catch it in the AOE. Fireball and storm spells count as attacks and kills, but seemingly not spells without a directly-damaging component. It'll make allies turn hostile, but the gods won't care about it. This affects sleeping TSO monsters, too.

You'd have to make even mindless monsters recognise a cloud exists, then. Otherwise Jiyva worshippers will get penance for using spells such as freezing cloud (or the storms) when the slimes mindlessly walk into them. |

Gods don't need to care if an ally walks into the cloud, but they certainly should if you actively drop a cloud on an ally. This is also partially related to 0001501 |
