A possible solution would be to give you Zin penance anyway. It will time out harmlessly unless you switch to an evil/chaotic god in the meantime. If you switch to evil, you'll have to suffer both wraths.
Too bad, this would slow down any wraths of other gods. This is beneficial for the player unless he wants to wait out that other god's wrath. Example: going Trog->TSO? Jump to Zin in the meantime, Trog's wrath will trigger only half as often (and twice as long). |

Perhaps remove that mechanic, so that wrath from a god is independent of wrath from others? (seem more intuitive too)
You are not generally supposed to get wrath from multiple gods anyway. |

Luca: Why aren't you supposed to get several wraths?
kilobyte: I think this solution is spot on. Why the half as severe and twice as long? I am missing something... |

I love the idea of having multiple gods angry at you. It could be a conduct. :) |

dpeg: if you have two gods angry at you, every time god wrath is rolled (1/2000 chance per turn with unorthodox rules), one god you owe penance to is chosen. This means, god A will be chosen half as often as if he was the only one -- but without lessening the penance you'll suffer, making the wrath effectively last twice as long. And since good gods let the counter tick down harmlessly as long as you don't worship evil, adding them will slow down other wraths.
This is usually a bad idea, but if you intend to win as soon as possible, it may be beneficial. |

I agree with Luca: decoupling god wraths, so you get 1/2000 chance of wrath for any god angry at you, seems like a very sensible idea. Getting more than one effect in the same turn would be rare, but having more gods angry at you would make your life more difficult as long as their anger lasts, which makes sense. |

Oh right, I think I fixed this. God wrath isn't independent of other gods yet, though. |
