| Description |
Relatively low-level character, Ogre Ice Elementalist. Found Ash temple and joined. Only Abilities shown were Renounce Religion and Shatter the Chains. Saved and restarted, and only Ability shown is Renounce Religion. I haven't been able to figure out the seed. |

Looking at your char dump, you shouldn't be offered "Shatter the Chains" unless you have a cursed item. This behavior is fixed in 0.27-a0-448-gace5c5693b Thanks for the report! |

Shouldn't I have the "Curse Item" option, though? I have identify scrolls. |

Welcome to playing trunk! As of 0.27-a0-423 Ashenzari no longer curses items with curse scrolls, and now periodically offers you curses via an ability, in a fashion similar to Ru. |

Ah, thanks. I figured there might be another change (given the addition of Shatter the Chains), but I couldn't find a writeup anywhere. |
