A version of this was reported on reddit and I did some additional testing. This only happens for me in chrome (not firefox) A simple recipe to replicate is (with a game where there is some spell that has been previously cast, blink is a good candidate for testing), start game, click on chat to open the tab (this does not put the cursor in the box), z, <enter>. The (presumably now focused) chat box intercepts the enter and toggles its open/closed state. Any presses of esc seem to reset the relevant state. I've also been told that using F12 to open chat doesn't lead to this issue. It also sounds like a recent chrome update could have magnified the problem.
On firefox, I've not been able to get the chat pane to inappropriately intercept enter at all. Haven't tried other browsers. |
